My name is Jeff. My interest is in the Cosmos. I received an AA in Physics (with Transfer) and then moved on to computer science. I spent 35 years in the computer science field. I've always been intrigued by the planets and the solar system. My interest was rekindled with the Carl Sagan's series, Cosmos, and again with the Stephen Hawking's book A Brief History of Time. Since then, I've picked up this book and that on the subject. I'm retired now and I am, once again, rekindling my interest. Every once in a while, I get a question in my head and just found this site where I make get some answers.

I don't know how much help I can be for people on this forum, I just don't have the credentials to provide any authoritative answers.

My name is Omar, and I'm based in Groningen The Netherlands. My formal physics education ended after high school, but I have dedicated the last several years to developing a theoretical framework from first principles. My work focuses on a topological field theory (which I call Swirl-String Theory) that models particles as knotted vortex...
