Of the 7 ships as yet intercepted, only 4 were freight ships, the Mavi Marmara not one of them.

Not that there was any life essentials on the freight ships, either, according to this article:

The following clip from German TV investigates the groups behind the "Free Gaza"-movement, not only the IHH, but also the ultra-nationalist BBP, which is connected with the murder of a Christian Armenian some years back. It is loosely connected to the Turkish fascist organization "The Grey Wolves".
The German lefties on the Mavi Marmara evidently had no problem associating with such people, for the sake of the Great Cause...

The Turkish and Arabic members on the Mavi Marmara is getting a pep talk from the leadership in IHH, and a member of the Egyptian Parliament on the day before the boarding.
