I am thrilled and honored to announce that @berkeman has accepted a role as PF Admin! @berkeman has 20 impactful years at PF under his belt. As a mentor @berkeman worked tirelessly and has a temperament of an angel. This is great news for PF stability, coverage, responsiveness and our future plans!

Any problems or dramas you have, kindly redirect them all to @berkeman now! ha ha! :-p

And by the way, congratulations Mike. Once again, I thank you for all the effort you put in to keep this forum as great as it is.

(And I like how your green Admin tag includes a tiny replica of your awesome ban-gavel.)
LOL, is that what that is? I thought it was a paint roller, to symbolize the work to be done...

Congratulations! I am at the present a very new member of the PF, however, already I have had the benefit help from @berkeman

A big CONGRATES @berkeman!

The only Mentor I've run across that gives an Explanation when responding to a Report.

Cheers,
Tom

@berkeman is the American counterpart to @fresh_42's German equanimity and efficiency.

Congrats. A suitable role for you. I can attest to the fact that he speaks softly but carries a lead pipe around.

Don't worry. It's filled with foam pellets so it doesn't hurt when it hits you.

Not only that, you can always just offer him a slice of pizza. That always distracts him enough for you to get away. Don't ask me how I know.

I know. I've had a few raps. That's why I know! :woot:

(About the pellets I mean. Saw the other post too late.)

When I posted my first question on PF, slightly over a year ago, I needed help with it. My instincts lead me to ask @berkeman, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
So congratulations, and also thanks for accepting the duty.

Congratulations, Mike.

You're my role model as a mentor.

I'm always monitoring mentor stats, and with my best scores, you are always three times or more ahead of me.

Well deserved.

Most of what Berkeman does is only visible to the other mentors - so he’s been doing way more than meets the eye.

Congratulations!
