Hello everyone,
It's been a long time since I posted anything here on PF.

After graduating in 2017 with a bachelors degree in EE, I have been working in software domain for the past 8.5 years (2.5 years in Japan).
I recently took the national-level entrance test for masters in Engineering in my country (the GATE exam) , and secured admission in 'Power Electronics and Power Systems' specialization at a top-tier Engineering school in my country (IIT Bombay). As part of this masters course, I will also be a working as a research assistant in a Power Electronics project for the next 3 years. The course is super-interesting with all the cool power electronics tech like WBG, Solid State Transformers, EV chargers and renewables.

I have received a tremendous amount of help (both quality and quantity😃) here at PF when I was a student back in 2015-2017. Even after graduating, I kept coming back to PF because of all the interesting threads, conversations and insights articles. I believe PF kept my interest in EE alive for so many years and hence I could study for the GATE exam with zero difficulty.

Thank you Physics Forums and its wonderful people @berkeman @gneill @Baluncore @Dale
@jim hardy @anorlunda @TSny @rude man and many more..

I guess I will be visiting PF a lot more often now as a student again!

PS: I really wish old jim were here today!😓
