Dear all

Kindly anyone suggest me any Process in which catalytic Agent provides -OH or -O (Epoxy) and then after forming Product takes back -OH or -O. We have to consider only these functional groups -OH or -O.

Thanks in Advance.

I have seen some initiators that contain benzoyl peroxide to provide the O- initiator. Benzoyl peroxide used to be used (still used?) in over-the-counter acne medication when I was a teen-ager.

I don't quite know what you mean by "provide -O... takes back ... -O"

Epoxy functional (-O). I need to know a catalytic Agent that can provide hydroxyl or epoxy functional and after forming the product takes back the functional group.
