Resources on the Schwarzschild solution and black hole discovery

I'm currently researching for the term paper of my class on black holes and the topic I selected is the one in the title. I've found some good information so far, but I don't feel like I have enough to get an A without a bit more. I'm curious if anyone has any resources that would aid this paper. It can be anything from how he went about solving the equation in the first place to how it was initially taken by the scientific community to how it eventually led to many astronomers/physicists fascination with black holes. I just need to figure out how I'm going to shape the paper, and the more information I can find the easier that will be.

A nice reference at the popular level is Thorne, Kip (1994). Black Holes and Time Warps: Einstein's Outrageous Legacy. W W Norton & Company. ISBN 0-393-31276-3. I believe that it has references to the original literature.

That's actually one of the textbooks we use for the class. It does have quite a bit of information in it, and will be a great help.
