Seeking Detailed OpenStax Physics Slides

Hello everyone,

I am looking for a detailed and systematically organised collection of lecture slides for calculus-based university physics, especially:

• OpenStax University Physics Volume 1, Chapters 11–17;
• OpenStax University Physics Volumes 2 and 3.

The closest example of exactly what I am seeking is Mkhitar Hobosyan’s expanded slide collection for OpenStax University Physics Volume 1, Chapters 1–10:

I am not looking for the standard OpenStax instructor PowerPoints or for conventional minimalist lecture slides.

Hobosyan’s presentations achieve a very specific balance. They include:

• all the essential concepts and definitions;
• all the important formulas;
• a clear and complete progression through each topic;
• diagrams integrated into the explanation rather than inserted without context;
• carefully selected examples and applications;
• worked examples and in-class assignments placed at the appropriate points;
• approximately 25–40 slides for a substantial chapter, rather than a very short summary.

At the same time, the slides do not attempt to reproduce every intermediate calculation or replace the lecturer. They preserve the complete conceptual and mathematical structure of the lesson while leaving the professor to develop intermediate algebra, derivations and additional explanations at the board.

This distinction is important. I am not seeking:

• slides containing only headings, isolated formulas or a few bullet points;
• image-based slides that depend almost entirely on oral explanation;
• attractive but highly condensed chapter summaries;
• complete textbooks or ordinary written lecture notes converted into slides;
• presentations so exhaustive that the lecturer merely reads projected text.

I have already examined the standard OpenStax PowerPoints and numerous publicly available OER collections. Most are either too schematic, poorly organised, visually unsuitable for teaching, or so dependent on the accompanying oral lecture that they are of limited value when preparing a course.

The material does not have to follow OpenStax exactly, provided that it covers the same calculus-based university physics curriculum with comparable depth, structure and pedagogical care. It also does not need to be formally published. Presentations stored on departmental websites, personal Google Drive or OneDrive folders, faculty repositories, Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle or other institutional platforms would be equally useful.

Does anyone know of a professor, university department, professional teaching community or private repository containing presentations of this kind?

If you have created comparable materials yourself but cannot or would prefer not to share them publicly, I would be very grateful for a private message. I would, of course, respect all copyright conditions, licensing requirements, attribution requirements and restrictions on redistribution.
