How did you find PF?
I was researching Stirling Generators and found the most relevant information on this site.
In retirement it is my goal to bake pizza in the wilderness by installing a wood burning oven in the bed of an EV truck. I would wish to be able to generate enough power to charge my vehicle. In my research I came across this site and discovered a Stirling Generator. It seems like I could custom build an oven incorporating a Sterling motor to power a generator. What little research I've done on EV's is that they have a minimum charge rate and it will more than likely fall outside of the capacity of a pizza oven fire box. Has anyone ever experimented with generating power from a fireplace or some other heat source?

Welcome to PF.

The New Member Introduction forum is meant for just brief introduction posts/threads. To ask technical questions, it's best to post in the appropriate technical forums and provide links to the reading you have been doing so far. Alternatively, I can move this thread to the Mechanical Engineering forum or the DIY forum.
