Summer 2014 internships and fellowships applications

Have people gotten replies from other astronomy programs? I've heard from harvard, and nrao as well (negative, alternate respectively). I applied to quite a few others and haven't heard anything yet

I read somewhere that astronomy summer programs do not announce until the first of March, I think this goes for REUs, NASA, etc. my guess is you shouldn't worry if on the 3rd, you still haven't heard, lol.

Just heard back from CU Boulder's Physics REU! Unfortunately I've already committed elsewhere... Ironically, still in Boulder though :)

I decided to email the programs(astro) that had deadlines in February, and heard back from half of them so far (all rejections.) So if you're waiting on places still, emailing them might be a good idea

Astronomy programs must generally make decisions earlier than physics programs, I'm guessing then? Because I'm still hearing back from physics REUs
