Sissel is a fairly popular artist in Norway, and she is also said to be a Nordic beauty. Personally, I find her a bit too sentimental, but she has a great voice.
The song performed, "Innerst i sjelen" (Innermost in my soul), is written by the previously crass satirist Ole Paus, lately turned Christian:
