I went with Integral here. I couldn't decide based on photo quality, but his is the only photo with NEW leaves that appear turned over. Clearly ST's and Janus' leaves are old leaves. I don't think such a gigantic leaf as in Zz's can be new either. That left me with larkspur's and Integral's to choose from (I only voted for myself once...usually I don't on principle). And, well, larkspur's leaf looks quite right-side-up, but Integral's leaves definitely have some examples up ones that are turned over to show us their bottom sides. :approve: So, there you have it, my convoluted reasoning for choosing a photo to fit the theme.

I went with Janus, I love that time of year!

You have 2 more days left to vote in the first round of this contest. The voting is very tight so far. Who will survive into the last round?

Zz.

Went for Zz, that leaf is huge and exotic looking :).

Looks like the person in Zz's picture just tore that leaf.

You know, this is could be a very interesting contest. The current leaders are larkspur's and mine.

Both are macro (close in magnified) shots, but larkspur's is wet, mine is beyond dry. One is very green and light, the other very dark and red. They are about as opposite as you can get within the broad category of a close up on a leaf.

I got a thing for barns...Janus is it this time.

Love Moonbear's sunset.
