What Degree Do You Need to Become an Animator for Anime and Cartoons?

[Daaniyaal]

What type of engineering is it called when you animate Anime (Japanese Cartoons) or just simple Western cartoons?

Please give me some info about the credentials I would need to become an animator or whatever its called, as well as wages if possible

Thank You!

I think you'd get an animation degree or a graphic design degree? It's not engineering.
