What is Science for Non-Scientists?

In summary, science is a systematic and evidence-based approach to understanding the natural world. It involves asking questions, making observations, and conducting experiments to gather data and test hypotheses. Science is not limited to a specific subject or field, as it encompasses all aspects of life and helps us make sense of the world around us. It is also a collaborative effort, with scientists working together to build upon previous knowledge and make new discoveries. As non-scientists, understanding the basics of science can help us make informed decisions and critically evaluate information in our daily lives.

google search
I was looking for a site that could enlighten general inquiries about science and I remember this forum's name or something similar to it from many years ago. And here I am.

We will try (but likely not always succeed) to make allowances for your lack of formal training
