In summary, the conversation discusses the topic of UFO propulsion and the inquiry about possible serious discussions on this subject. It is mentioned that UFOs seem to move using a skipping motion, which can cover large distances in an instant without the use of rocket power. The original poster, who is not a physicist, is curious about the scientific explanation behind this movement. However, it is noted that this topic is considered speculation and therefore against the community's guidelines.

I am new to the board although not young or new to science. I was wondering if there were any serious discussions relating to UFO propulsion. It seems like a lot of UFOs move by a skipping motion, skipping short or large distances, sometimes 20-100 miles or so in an instant. They are not using rocket power of course but probably using some sort of quantum physics approach. I am not a physicist but was curious if anyone had an idea as to why these things can appear to move so fast. Thanks.

Related to What is the propulsion behind UFOs?

1. What is the current scientific understanding of UFO propulsion?

The current scientific understanding of UFO propulsion is that it is still unknown and there is no concrete evidence to support any specific method of propulsion. There are many theories and speculations, but without concrete evidence, it remains a mystery.

2. Is there any evidence to suggest that UFOs use advanced technology for propulsion?

There have been some reports and theories that suggest UFOs may use advanced technology for propulsion, such as anti-gravity or electromagnetic propulsion. However, there is no concrete evidence to support these claims and they remain purely speculative.

3. Could UFOs be using propulsion methods that are beyond our current understanding of physics?

It is possible that UFOs could be using propulsion methods that are beyond our current understanding of physics. However, without concrete evidence, it is difficult to determine the validity of these theories.

4. Are there any known scientific principles that could explain the propulsion of UFOs?

There are some scientific principles that have been proposed as possible explanations for the propulsion of UFOs, such as wormholes or warp drive. However, these are still theoretical and have not been proven to be possible.

5. What is the role of gravity in UFO propulsion?

There is no consensus among scientists on the role of gravity in UFO propulsion. Some theories suggest that UFOs use anti-gravity technology to counteract the effects of gravity, while others propose that they use gravity as a means of propulsion. However, without concrete evidence, it is difficult to determine the role of gravity in UFO propulsion.
