What is the Role of Organic Semiconductors in Advancing Electronics?

I'm PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering, working in the field of organic semiconductors and organic electronics.
My B.Sc degree is in Physics (electro-optics program) and my M.Sc degree is in EE (Organic electronics, mainly OLEDs).
