SUMMARY

The discussion centers on locating the UNIFAC-VLE Subgroup Parameters Table, specifically for compounds such as butene and dimethylformamide. A downloadable Excel table containing these parameters is available at this link, sourced from VLECALC software. Additionally, users seek guidance on categorizing specific compounds within the UNIFAC VLE method and express difficulty in finding VLE data for certain compounds like 1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidine.

PREREQUISITES
  • Understanding of UNIFAC VLE method
  • Familiarity with VLECALC software
  • Knowledge of chemical compound classification
  • Basic proficiency in Excel for parameter analysis
NEXT STEPS
  • Research the categorization of C=C compounds in UNIFAC
  • Explore the capabilities of VLECALC software for VLE data
  • Investigate alternative sources for UNIFAC parameters
  • Learn about the properties and applications of 1,4,5,6-tetrahydropyrimidine
USEFUL FOR

Chemical engineers, researchers in thermodynamics, and students studying phase equilibria will benefit from this discussion, particularly those working with UNIFAC parameters and VLE data analysis.

Hello..I am looking for UNIFAC-VLE Subgroup Parameters Table online but can't find any..where can I get it?

By the way..how should I categorize C=C compound for example butene and compound like dimethylformamide when using UNIFAC VLE method?

Thanks for helping...

You can download an Excel table with parameters from my webpage in:

http://www.fsalazar.bizland.com/xls/UNIFAC.xls

That information was obtained from free VLECALC SOFTWARE.

I need to find VLE data for 1,4,5,6 - tetrahydropyrimidine, 1,3-diaminopropane. For the second compound i can obtain UNIFAC parameters. But for pyrimidine, I don't know where to find it. In the link given www.fsalazar.bizland.com/xls/UNIFAC.xls, pyridine is given, not pyrimidine!

Please help!

Thank you very much!
