I just dont know how to separate it , plz help me

Is it really

\frac{1}{(s+1)^{2}(1+e^{-2s})}

Maple 9 doesn't want to solve it.
Can you check it just in case.

yes.... the question is right.

First put the (1+exp(-2s) factor into the numerator and expand as a series. the function appears to be a series of square wave pulses, which are probably modified by the (s+1)^2 factor.
