View Full Version : Fundamental Forces?
Is it known for sure that any or all of the fundamental forces produce a push or a pull affect?
Thanks.

Please be specific as to what you mean by "push or pull effect". Electromagnetic can attract or repulse. Gravity and strong force attract. I am not sure how to describe weak force (responsible for beta decay).

force can only be described as its effects on objects. just like time can only be described as objects in motion.

sorry, I think of "pull" as attraction and push as repulse.
Is it understood under what conditions the electromagnetic force would attract as oppose to repulse?
Thanks for your responses folks.
