A square has 360 degrees, if you measure the degrees on the outside, what degree do you get?

Each external angle of a square is 270 degrees. So, the total is 270*4 = 1080 degrees.

thats what i came to as well, however, the outside degrees overlap eachother... so sets of 90 degrees would be cancelled out... in cancelling out the overlaps, i come to 720... is that what you come to?

Can u explain what u mean by "angles cancel up" ? and how you came up with the 720 result ?
