Is the enthalpy (H) of liquid water greater than that of the same quantity of ice at the same temperature?

Is the enthalpy (H) of liquid water greater than that of the same quantity of ice at the same temperature?Yes, if they both are at thermodynamic equilibrium. If they are not, for example in the case of supercooled water, that's not necessarily true.
