hey i've been snooping around trying to find out who invented the D'Arsonval/Weston galvanometer movement? im not able to find it or in other words im getting different sources from different web?..

Having looked at the Wikipedia article, it seems (which is not surprising) that it was not 'invented' but developed in a number of stages. D'Arsonval and Weston were obviously major contributors in their turn.
I don't think it could have been a 'Dyson' style invention. That would be pretty unlikely from the way that History went at that time.
