is there a website which shows which medium and serum is for a cell line (mammalian cells)? i have the problem looking for the right medium and serum.

The easiest way is to go to Pubmed (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?) or Google scholar (http://scholar.google.com/) and search for articles using that cell line. The methods section will usually describe culture conditions including medium choice and its components. Keep in mind that some labs will use different medium for the same cell line. If you are trying to replicate or extend a specific set of experiments done by another lab, keep the conditions in-line with what they used. You might also find some useful info on the Amerian Type Culture Collection (ATCC (http://www.atcc.org/)) site.
