temp diff in Greenland and Iceland

Guys, I need an answer for why the temperature is so different in Greenland and Iceland when the countries are so close together. I need an answer very soon, as in, tonight.

Since they are so close together, perhaps you should think really hard about how they are DIFFERENT!

Its a bit late now, HallsofIvy. i went back to school, got the answer wrong, but still got full credit for trying. Maybe I should have thought of how the countries are different yesterday, but it makes sense now.[;)]
