Eye strain and drying may be the problem, I would try some eye wetting drops. You can get them at the drug store{pharmacy}.

or you could just not spend so much time in front of your lap top. If you do have to use it because you have a lot of work you should take regular breaks to give your eyes a rest.

Look up, focus on a distant object or wall, look all around for a bit. Remember to blink (people don't blink as often while looking at a screen, which dries your eyes out).
