Is there anyway we can get the message boards to understand Latex commands? Writing equations would be easier, and it would be easier to read.

The concern is that LaTeX is computationally complete. It would probably be easy to corrupt the board using LaTeX barring some really sophisticated access control.

Good news: I've pretty much figured out all that we'll need to do to get the site to convert and display images from latex input. Look for this functionality soon.
