Seperately excited DC machine question

Hi, i would be very grateful for some help.......

I have recently conducted an experiment and but im not sure how to compare the values i measured with 'predicted' results (from theoretical equations). This is for the 'open circuit characteristic of a dc generator'.

I set values for the field current and recorded values of the armature voltage. Then plotted a graph of armature voltage against field current. The only other value i have to work with is that the machine was running at 1500rev/min.......

e.g. a measured value was - setting the field current to 0.1A i recorded 70.5Volts. All i want to know is how do i check this is about right????

Thanks very much,

Phil
