SUMMARY

Programs such as DigitizeIt and Uniphiz are available to convert graphs from image formats like JPEG into x,y coordinate lists. Users seeking to digitize graphical data can utilize these tools without needing to write code themselves. Both options provide user-friendly interfaces for extracting data from images efficiently.

PREREQUISITES
  • Basic understanding of image formats (e.g., JPEG, PNG)
  • Familiarity with graph data representation
  • Knowledge of coordinate systems (x,y axes)
  • Awareness of data extraction techniques
NEXT STEPS
  • Research how to use DigitizeIt for graph digitization
  • Explore Uniphiz features for extracting data from plots
  • Learn about alternative tools for image-to-data conversion
  • Investigate best practices for validating digitized data accuracy
USEFUL FOR

Data analysts, researchers, and anyone involved in data visualization who needs to convert graphical data from images into usable datasets.

I'm looking for a program that can read a jpeg, or any other graphic format, of a graph or plot and return a x,y list. Can anyone help out? I really don't have the time to write the code my self, or do I want to write the code my self. Thanks
