Light Source for Point source fibers - telescope

Hi. I am wondering what kind of light sources are used if one is using a fiber to do a single point source or artificial star calibration on a telescope? Any commercial ones can do if anyone knows one.

I've heard that LED's can be used. I would use a green one of course.
