Superluminal jets

Superluminal jets have been detected with speeds of up to 6c.

Does anyone know where these high speed jets are detected? Are they near the centre of galaxies or near the edge of galaxies or somewhere else?

Such jets are associated with large black holes, so you going to generally find them in the center of galaxies. One thing to point out is that the apparent "Superluminal" velocity of these jets is just an relativistic illusion, nad they do not actually travel at greater than light speeds.
