FeDeX_LaTeX FeDeX_LaTeX is Offline: Posts: 157	Infinite Sums/Products I know that $LaTeX Code: \\sum$ is used for an infinite sum, and $LaTeX Code: \\prod$ is used for an infinite product. But are there any more of that type?

Gerenuk Gerenuk is Offline: Posts: 962	Re: Infinite Sums/Products There is for example the direct sum http://mathworld.wolfram.com/DirectSum.html for groups, matrices etc. Probably a lot more specialized notations exist in all sorts of mathematical areas.
