Need help: car shocks
Hey everyone,
I have this little problem in my physics class and I need some help.When a car rolls over a hill, which forces are applied to determine if the car will jump or stick to the road. I know there's gravity, no acceleration (constant speed) and I need to consider the four shocks of the car as one. I'd need a differential equation out of that. Thanks

Well, here's a starter.
In simple terms, the force a spring exerts is proportional to the amount by which it's been compressed. The force a simple damper exerts is proportional to the velocity at which it's being actuated. |
