How Does Axial Flow Affect Flow Rate and Head in Turbomachinery?
turbomachinery i want to know the effect of changing the rotational speed and the mass flow rate on the pressure ration of axial compressor and centrifugal compressor and the effect of the same two parameters on the gas turbine ?? it would be better if anyone can tell abt website that can i...- ahmedbadr

How Does Axial Flow Affect Flow Rate and Head in Turbomachinery?
iam confused so much about some concepts of turbomachinery. according to the classification of rotodynamics devices there are 3 types radial flow, axial flow and mixed flow and axial flow gives higher flow rate compared to radial flow and lower head. so my question is what is meant that axial...- ahmedbadr

Capacitor Behaviour: AC Voltage Source Response
for clarification i mean if this explanation is right so the capacitor will be charged then discharged during the positive half cycle??so how it will only be charged to the peak voltage- ahmedbadr

Capacitor Behaviour: AC Voltage Source Response
my question is about capacitor response to ac voltage source . if we have circuit consistst of ac voltage source and a capacitor .so the variation of voltage across capacitor versus time will be as shown in the attached drawing. and from this drawing i see that during the positive half...- ahmedbadr

Reversible processes and carnot cycle
i laso ve another question i can understand the concept of irreversibility that there is energy dissipated in the process but i can uget that just for friction burt for other reasons of irreversibilities for example heat transfer i can't get whre is the energy dissipated here.thx- ahmedbadr

Reversible processes and carnot cycle
ok can u tell me a website or textbook that explains this relation between entrop and irreversibilty?because in carnot syscle in the heat addition process there is increase in the entropy of system however it is cosidered to be reversible process . thx- ahmedbadr

Reversible processes and carnot cycle
i want to ask why heat transfer is considered ti be an irreversibility and why in carnot carnot cycle heat addititon is at constant temperature to make this process reversible- ahmedbadr

When flowing fluid passes through throttling there is a drop in
well,u say there is expansion i don't know why there is expansion what causes this expansion??also i can get why pressure decreases in the constriction but according 2 bernoulli equation pressure will restore its value when fluid get out of constriction and back to flow in the same diameter...- ahmedbadr

Undergrad Inertia and equlibrium of machines
well, i would like to ask abt sth we studied in theory of machines ' we studied chapter named(equilibrium of machines) but i am really so confused abt concept of this equilibrium because in this chapter we have studied that any part of machines under equlibrium u can apply these equations...
