I'm taking a step back as I've found a concept I'm struggling with. If I have an equation: 2(x-1)/3 = (x/4)+1 I've been told I need to multiply by 12 to give me: 8(x-1) = 3x+12 However I'm struggling with the multiplication of fractions in his instance. Can anyone advise me how that...- annalise17

Right, I've got so far as calculating g now and have calculated a very low value for g compared to Earth which is consistent with having a smaller mass than earth. Hmm I may not be differentiating anything actually! Sorry, my maths is lacking quite a bit so I mix up my terminology. But yes, that looks right (although I have P1 and P2 the other way around, I'll check that) I didn't know how to input it on here so attempted it in linear form.- annalise17

Calculating the Value of Q for Constant Pressure Heat Transfer
I got that bit, I just wasn't sure whether we were actually given Q or U but I've worked it out: ∆U = Q = 29100 J ∆U = C_v (T_2-T_1) etc. Using Q as that gave me a sensible ratio of C_p to C_v so I'm happy!- annalise17
