Does Studying Advanced Physics Make Your Brain Feel Fried?
I not sure if this has happened to any of you guys but I always slightly "special" after finsihing an hard midterm I have been studying all week (9-13 hour days). Now that's is over I feel great, althought I feel completely retarted. Does this happen to any of guys, after taking a course in...- bjon-07

Undergrad Which is more dangerous series or parallel
If I identical parallel plate capacitors are hook up in series(case 1) or in parallel (case 2) to a battery and the battery is removed which of the two poses a greater risk of getting electricuted? I think I would be parallel because in general the have a higher Ceq to hold charge, thus more...- bjon-07

Graduate Symmetry in Physics: Wave Functions & e^i (Δ)
well my question was this...I was reading about symmetry in physics...feymann was talking about the wave function...if you have two identcal particles in different places...and find there wave functions...blah blah blah...the he mutiplied one of the wave fuctions by a factor of e^i (delta sign)...- bjon-07

Understanding the Relationship between Frequency and Period in Physical Motion"
Hi all, I have been studying for my physics final which is tomorrow for the past 9 hours..my brain hurts...sorry if this question is dumb I keep getting f=freq T=period mixed what is the difference between the two again in the physical sense (i.e. would the motion of pistons in a...- bjon-07

Undergrad Ideal gases and Vector calculus
In my physics book, the 4 properties of an ideal gase are 1. nonviscous 2. steady flow (laminar) 3. incompressible 4. irrotational My question is the properties of being irrotional the same as the vector functions that have a Curl=O iff irrotational My physics book states the...- bjon-07

If the tides on earth one meter high how far away is the moon?
Thanks for the help Andrew. Could you please show me how got the anwser 23 hours 56 minutes. I know as the moon moves away from the Earth the Earth is slowing down. Some of the angular momnet of the Earth is "lost" on the moon. Thank again for your help.- bjon-07
