How to control an ac motor with sinusoidal torque output
Control of AC machine in synchronous reference frame, the instantaneous torque is proportional to q-axis current. So we need to control q-axis current if we need to control torque. We need the machine torque to be sinusoidal. The motor is connected to lead screw, which converts the motor...- Cdz

How to control an ac motor with sinusoidal torque output
Hello, guys. In field oriented control of ac machines, the electromagnetic torque is proportional to the q-axis current. We can control instantaneous torque by control the q-axis current. If the torque we want is a constant value, with PI controller, no problem, no steady error. But if we want to...- Cdz

What is the protocol used for the Panasonic incremental encoder?
I read that it is a 20bit incremental encoder and it has only two wires for transmitting signals named as $$PS \enspace\overline {PS}$$ and the manual says serial signal transmission. I read on Wikipedia that both SSI and BISS have clock signal, so they are not what I am looking for. So it may...- Cdz

What is the protocol used for the Panasonic incremental encoder?
I think Reverse Engineering is cool. I will try it and buy another encoder just in case. Wish I make it  Thank you.- Cdz

What is the protocol used for the Panasonic incremental encoder?
No it's not exactly just a learning exercise. For me, maybe it is, but for my professor it's not. It's a project and I do the basics to make sure the platform works and there will be more advanced work following. But l like your idea, keep it simple. Neat.- Cdz

What is the protocol used for the Panasonic incremental encoder?
I have a Panasonic servo motor( model no.MSME 102GCGM), this motor comes with an encoder installed and a drive. I am learning motor control, so i need to do the drive myself with dSPACE system and to do that I need the encoder signal as feedback, however the encoder output signal is not ABZ...- Cdz

Engineering Where Does the Induction Motor Torque Formula Come From?
I am learning basic motor control and there is a formula list in my book. The last one is for torque calculation, can anyone point out to me where this one is from or how is it derived?- Cdz

Simulink vector space alpha beta transformation
Problem solved. The problem is that the scope is running with too low a sample rate. I changed the sample rate from 0.01(default) to 0.00002 and the result is good.- Cdz

Simulink vector space alpha beta transformation
I changed three phase voltage generation part to a Three Phase Sine Generator and the angle output is as I expected. So the problem lies in three phase voltage generation. But i can not figure out how that is wrong. Help!- Cdz
