We have to find a movie that has 3 good examples and 3 bad examples of this principle. We were thinking about doing Finding Nemo however we can't think of 3 bad ones and we are worried that our physics teacher might reject it since it is not a "serious" movie.
Any ideas?
A friend and I were debating this.
Would you be better trying to swim to the surface of 20 feet of alcohol or 20 feet of honey.
We can figure out that swimming out of alcohol is rather hopeless due to density but for honey we have no way to consider the viscosity of the liquid. Any thoughts?

I am trying to do a simple experiment that estimates the mass of an object based on how an Atwood machine reacts when it is added to one side.
For this experiment we have a pulley with 200-gram masses on either side of...
Free body diagrams are where you simplify each object to a point and draw all of the forces acting upon it.
I am having difficulty understanding it entirely and it would really help to just have a bunch of examples of free body diagrams. If you have a link to a bunch that would be great.

Hello! I have been trying to make a simulation and it doesn't quite work right, don't exactly know why. I have two questions!
1. Acceleration
I have been trying
I need a formula that uses.
frames till full speed (f) (if framerate is 60fps and this value is 60 then player is at full speed...
So, I was working on some code to handle this.
Basically the setup is I have x, y, and z velocity. So if x is negative then move left. If y is positive move up. Z is positive move forward etc.
When keys are pressed I add (or subtract) to the proper velocity value. Their are two parts of this...
Hey also. Which AP physics has to do with laws of motion and collision. I am interested especially in these fields because it would be fun to be a physics programmer.
Hey, So I am a sophomore in high school and have never taken a physics class before (it hasn't been offered) but I look forward too taking one.
I got really thoughtful today and came up with three questions.
1. Gravity... is it energy? And is it infinite? I mean we harness gravities energy...
