Thanks :] I have written the question badly..
So really what I'm trying to find out is, if you bounce light off a mirror/wall and when the light beam hits the mirror, is there a change in the light beam at its initial state?
Does the beam (at its initial point) change depending on what...
Ok so this may be an odd question but maybe there is someone here who can understand what I'm talking about.
When you have a wave of water and the water hits a wall, the waves will ripple back and causes the motion of the waves to traverse.
I was wondering if there is anything like this...
ok just a couple of questions I have been thinking about.. this is not my area of expertise so help would be greatly appreciated
Could anyone tell me how far away from Earth I would have to be before I could shoot a bullet from a gun that would hit the moon. Supposing the bullet could travel at...
Just a question about heating compressed air..
I know generally how hot air works.. You heat it and particles expand and creates lift.
So my question is, Does heating compressed air provide any lift? if so how much in relation to normal air?
eg
if I had 100m^3 of air heated to 120C...
so I have a implicit diffentiation problem and was wondering if someone could help me out.. I need to figure out how to get
dy/dx=0
so eg if i had
dy/dx = 4xy+2x/5y^2
and you want to write this in terms of y, how is this done? is there a trick?
sorry I should have made that clear, the new question I'm asking is if this process is possible in space. So taking protons from space and converting them into hydrogen..
I'm looking for a filter/vacum that would output only protons, given any sort of gas.
Thanks for your help spidey, yeah the anode ray tube is kind of what I'm looking for..
Ok what I'll say next is kind of related but in a 'outer space' context. This is highly ambitious but is something like...
Iam a maths student so forgive my lack of knowledge, for a project Iam doing I need some information..
Is there such thing as a proton filter? eg a device that could take in as an input different types of gas (like oxygen) and output just protons?
if there isn't something like this, is a...
