Hello,
Working without complex numbers a conjugate of any function in a LVS is always the same thing. A conjugate of any matrix in a LVS is very often not the same thing though. I am just confused as to why functional spaces rely on complex numbers for the conjugate to have any importance and...
What is everyones thoughts on the most accurate form of these equations with our current understanding of QM and relativity. Including the fact that a photon has greater than 0 rest mass.
Would the two tensor equations of Covariant formulation of classical electromagnetism be the most accurate?
Wait a minute, with light it doesn't matter what your relative velocity is, light is only one speed c, invariant. So... If you had a light emitting diode traveling to you, then away from you, what's the difference? The light is traveling at speed c to you at all times.
Next time I get pulled...
GV can't be FTL. It is the velocity of a constructive interference from a group of waves, each wave traveling at c so the fastest possible GV is c. This holds for the observable universe.
If you would like to make up a system of waves that are faster than c, say 2c, then you could have a GV...
If you bounce a ball of the wall a ball bounces back. Doesn't mean you have doubled anything. If you bounce a light packet off a mirror it bounces back.
Well let's say it was heading stright for the observer, and the observer could see both forward and behind. He is right, relativley there is no difference, the doppler effect collapses...
That confuses me, its not the electric field but the motion of the electrons? An electric field in free space that curls does generate a magnetic field, that is how a light wave works.
But the curl is change, E is changing direction at all moments of time as it winds around the pencil. The...
Wait a minute! You mean to tell me that if you have an electric field going around in a circle no magnetic field will be generated? How do speakers work then?
The equation is symmetric, it works both ways, it must.
