Why Is Weight Expressed in Scientific Notation in Physics Problems?
Its just a convention man..more applicable for bigger numbers...like you can write 10000000 or 10^7 they would mean the same thing...its just for the ease of writing- DV10

Coefficient of restitution factors
well what I'm actually looking for is practical variations with conditions.I'm building a project which works on collisions n so i want to know for how long will my original calculations be valid and what all variations will occur with time.still,i appreciate your response.- DV10

Coefficient of restitution factors
Homework Statement On what all factors does coefficient of restitution depend?i mean do we have 1 for a pair of surfaces in contact or a surface has one irrespective of the surface of the other colliding body? Also, practically, does coefficient of restitution change/vary?If yes, could anyone...- DV10

Why are the electrons always against natural tendencies?
how do you define an idealistic situation here?i mean, lets say instead of a single electron, i have a beam of electrons..doesnt that work as a better approxiamtion? in that case doesn't your 2nd argument fail? as much as I've infered from this discussion is, that basically are you trying to...- DV10

Why are the electrons always against natural tendencies?
as far as I've read, potential energy of a current carrying loop in a uniform magnnetic field is U=-p.B where p,B are magnetic dipole moment vector of the loop and the magnetic field vector(the field already present) the tendency of a current carrying loop should have been to align itself WITH...- DV10
