Mimicking a 14.4VDC Speaker Charger
Good day Everyone, I am going camping and I am rigging up a couple small solar power setups, I have a 12V 26AH Battery with a solar panel and appropriate solar charge controller. I will use this to charge a few 5V devices(Mostly cell phones for taking pictures and videos). Anyway that setup is...- eddie90

Is there a difference between wiring methods for AGM deep cycle solar batteries?
The cable I am using is 2 gauge, see image. I can't figure out the ohms per foot. I found a table online that says its .1593 not sure if that's right Also all the batteries are right next to each other, all the connections are about 20" long. EDIT**:10"- eddie90

Is there a difference between wiring methods for AGM deep cycle solar batteries?
That's the thing lol to me it seems like its the same thing. In case you don't exactly get what I am asking, look at this pic and compare it to the first one I uploaded. Would these 2 setups behave the same way?- eddie90

Is there a difference between wiring methods for AGM deep cycle solar batteries?
Good day, When dealing with AGM deep cycle solar batteries, is there a difference between the following two wiring methods? By the way, I found these pictures online but they describe the two scenarios Basically the two are almost identical but on one you are grabbing your positive and...- eddie90

How Can I Wire 6 6V Batteries to Make a 24V Battery Bank for My RV Solar Setup?
Thank you guys for all the great information. I had a feeling this was not the way to go but I didn't exactly know why. Ok so the reason why I need a 24V bank is because the inverter I am installing is a 24VDC...- eddie90

How Can I Wire 6 6V Batteries to Make a 24V Battery Bank for My RV Solar Setup?
Good day, I am adding a solar setup and inverter to an RV and have a question about how to design my battery bank I will be using 6V AGM Solar Batteries. I need to make a 24V battery bank. Problem is I only have space for 6 batteries. And currently I only know how to get 24V out of 6V...- eddie90

Making a solar cell phone charger
The regulator chip did did begin to get a little hot so I did attach a small heatsink to it. I am using it to charge a portable phone charger that itself is charged with 5V Seems to work just fine now. Thank you!- eddie90

Making a solar cell phone charger
I had not thought about charging a battery pack. That might be better, it is not limited to providing power only while under the sun. I will look at these examples in detail tonight when I get home Thank you!- eddie90

Making a solar cell phone charger
Good day everyone, So I have a spare solar panel that has been laying around and I want to put it to use. Its a small panel, about 8"X12". The specs read 8 Watts and 17 Volts I was thinking of maybe making a solar charger for phones and other 5VDC USB devices. I bought a 5VDC regulator kit...- eddie90

How do I delay current in a circuit
Yea I want to go for a BS. I sort of knew Calculus was important but I didnt know it was That, important. But it does make sense, many times when I've tried learning about subjects in electronics I've gotten completely stuck because all I see are math(Calculus I'm guessing) symbols. I'm about...- eddie90
