You are using common sense to try to define physics A lot of the time, common sense makes less sense in physics K_

but you still touched it. You touched it in the present... and then when you thought about it, that touch was in the past, but the thought is now the present K_

Tom, in theory, a white hole is the exact opposite of a black hole. Therefore, whereas black holes 'suck things in', a white hole will 'spit things out' that had originally entered the black hole. However, white holes are almost definitely hypothetical only. Kyle

Because if it is wrong, and people unfamiliar with the forums take it as a proven theory, then it could get confusing. Whereas if it is in the theory development section, then that is well stated. Also, i am no expert physicist, but what you have said is based on a very common misunderstanding...
