Solar thermal collectors in parallel
Thanks Jambaugh, So I can safely assume that doubling the area of a single collector (with increasing tubes diameters) will have the same effect of having two panels connected in parallel?- Fady Alphons

Solar thermal collectors in parallel
I am using TRYNSYS software to simulate solar thermal cooling. I need to install many solar thermal panels (evacuated tubes) in parallel. However, there is no feature to do that automatically in the software; so I can only add them manually with complex piping and stuff. So my question is: Is...- Fady Alphons

Where can I get standard data for motion time study?
I'm working on a school project (Plant layout). In the project, I'm in the planning phase of a new product and I need to have some standard data for motion time study (i.e. assembling) to determine equipment, space and people needed in the plant. Where can I find such data?- Fady Alphons

How does an electric dynamometer measure friction power?
That helped me very much Jack. I understand now that there is no load (delivered torque) so there is no brake power. Thanks :)- Fady Alphons

How does an electric dynamometer measure friction power?
So I read that in a motoring test (to test the engine power), the engine is run to the desired speed by its own power. The power is absorbed by an electric dynamometer. Then, the fuel supply is cut-off and the dynamometer is converted to work as a motor to drive the engine at the same speed...- Fady Alphons

Finite element method and applied element method
What are the advantages and disadvantages of both AEM and FEM and which on is easier. I am doing a project and I should use one of these two methods to solve for a truss system. P.S. computer programming shall be used. In the end which method is better for this case?- Fady Alphons

Undergrad Question about normal distribution in probabilty
I have a final exam in probability and I faced a question that made me think of the logic and the concept of the normal distribution. Here is the question: A food industry company imports oil in big tanks and refills bottles of different sizes with it. One of the main filling sizes is the...- Fady Alphons
