Is Peukert's Law Applicable for Calculating Battery Life at Microampere Levels?
Hi everybody, I would like to use a 9V pp3 battery with a device with a rate of order of µA. Iwanted to use Peukert's law to calculate the duration of my battery but I am not quite sure if it is applicable for such low current... Won't a battery with 1200mAh capacity discharge too fast...- frenchero

Reducing the conductivity of silanol group
another really important that I forgot to mention is that the silanol groups create a double layer in my system by exchanging protons so I need to keep protons which I do not if I condense silanol groups.- frenchero

Reducing the conductivity of silanol group
but would not heating cause extra damages to the glass before the silanol groups condense? I mean in this form glass is pretty stable and you will have to heat at high temperature won't you?- frenchero

Reducing the conductivity of silanol group
Hi, I am performiong electromosis into glass channels and I would like to reduce the silanol group conductivity. I am not an expert in surface treatment and I only know treatment with OTS but it makes the cannel become too hydrophobiac to use aquaeous solutions and that's hat I am using. Any...- frenchero

Preventing Air in Capillaries: Solutions and Valve Selections from Upchurch
Hi, I didn't know where to put my thread so I hope this is the good place. I have a technical issue concerning capillaries! I use capillaries to fill a mircofluidic network and I am desperately looking for a way to prevent air from coming inside capilarry and thus coming inside my microfluidic...- frenchero

Solving a Circuit Problem with SPDT Switches
Hi, Here is my problem, I am using a circuit with two SPDT switches that I would need to make work in phase. I would like to activate the two SPDT switches with an another SPDT switch in order to put the two first PDT in one position at the same time (the use of only one external switch is...- frenchero

Undergrad How Can I Calculate the Pressure Loss Coefficient of a Diffuser?
Hi, I want to calculate the pressure loss coefficient for a diffuser but I can't find the equation. I tried with bernoulli but I don't get it. I've read that the coefficient depends on the length the scale and conical degree of the difuser? Can you help me? thank you! -

What is the impact of changing channel size in microfluidic devices?
HI! I have a question about microfluidic devices. When you enlarge a channel, for example from 100µm to 2mm, is there a big variation of flow rate or back pressure? I can't find the equation to solve this issue. Thank you damien- frenchero
