Automotive Powering the surrounding neighborhood using friction from passing cars
Hi guys, I am curious to find if there is any invention where the friction between the surface of motorway and cars' tyres are used to create kinetic energy which can be converted into electrical energy to power up the houses and plants around them. Thank you.- Gajan1234

Mechanics, Distance and speed question
Thank you indeed but last question: why do we reject the other equations. and also even if I make the initial velocity zero, then I would end up with 2s=at^2, t- Gajan1234

Mechanics, Distance and speed question
What is the relationship between the distance y traveled by an object falling freely from rest and the time x the object has been falling? The answer to this question is: y is proportional to x2 Can someone tell me how this answer is correct.- Gajan1234

High School Why Does Snell's Law Give Incorrect Results When Using Certain Formulas?
At the start of the chapter the book told me to use this formula to find refractive index: N= Sin(i)/Sin(r) How ever later in the section they showed me to use this formula when three quantities are given : NxSin(i)=NxSin(r) I tried apply the same method to a question, it gave me a wrong... -

Undergrad Refraction, wavelength and frequency
I've learned that when wavelength increase the frequency decreases. But in Refraction, there is a mention about frequency remains same but the wavelength and speed changes. Why does the frequency doesn't change? I thought when when wavelength is short the peaks are closer to each other so... -

High School Phase difference in standing wave
Can someone explain why the phase difference is zero when the there is equal number of nodes between the two vibrating particles. Thank you- Gajan1234
