Graduate The great Matter-Antimatter Imbalance
Thanks guys, ill look into it. I have read over and over that CP violation accounts for SOME of the imbalance, but not all of it. Thanks for the help, keep it coming! :D- Gluonium

Undergrad Neutrino Oscillation: Learn About the Experiment
The outcome was that Neutrino's oscilate, which means that they must have mass. This shook the standard model a bit because it predicted that they did not have mass. If i recall correctly, they experiment was just a beam of neutrinos and on a few occaisions some of the neutrinos oscillated.- Gluonium

Graduate The great Matter-Antimatter Imbalance
Hi all, i am buckling down and trying to finish this report on this subject. The only problem is that i am having trouble finding theories to explain this. Do Supersymmetry, String Theory, or Superstring Theory have a stance on this imbalance? Does M-Theory? Or are there real, researched...- Gluonium

Graduate Where Can I Find Detailed Equations Like Dirac's and Einstein's?
Yes i know and understand, i am not asking for a shortcut by ANY means. Just understand the interest i have in this field. I wanted to learn more about it. I have read 2 books on the subject, i just have a thirst to learn more. To me it is the most fascinating thing in the universe. I just...- Gluonium

Graduate Where Can I Find Detailed Equations Like Dirac's and Einstein's?
True, but i want to be able to understand it which is why i asked if anyone knew of any books that kind of introduced things. Like if you take a look at the dirac equation (thanks for that BTW jtbell), at first glance i have no idea what it is, but i will read it and try to gain some sort of...- Gluonium

Graduate Where Can I Find Detailed Equations Like Dirac's and Einstein's?
Well i always read about them, but does anyone know where i can look at the actual equations? Some examples might be Einsteins Theory of Relativity (not mass, but space and time) or Dirac's complete equation describing the electron; the one which earned him the Nobel Prize. I don't...- Gluonium

Schools Colleges that offer degrees in nuclear and particle physics
Ok so what would my career path be if i wanted to be a nuclear and/or particle physicist? What Undergrad and Grad stuff. Maybe some high-school courses i should take in the next 2 years, etc. Thanks! :D- Gluonium

High School Decoding Anti-Matter: Understanding its Formation and Properties
Yes, It goes on the Everything has it's opposite notion. Light - dark, day - night, etc. - etc. So for every particle of matter there (should) be a corresponding antiparticle. Antimatter can basically be thought of as matter moving backwards, rather than forwards, in time. The charges of...- Gluonium
