What if gap is irregular in capacitor

I don't have clear concept on voltage. I am a Mechanical guy. If the gap is irregular in large capacitor, how voltage is derived in theory. Using software I can divide the surface into many pieces and calculate voltage of individual small piece. I attached my problem.

Dielectric or Piezoelectric: What's the Difference?

Hi, What is the difference between dielectric material and piezoelectric material ? Even Wikipedia use exactly the same figure for illustration. I googled, Both of them is - material between plates - polarization, dipole of molecule As far as I understood from google, When material is...

I Is the Proof of Geometric Progression in Probability Common Sense?

This mean of geometric probability problem. No statistics and Math textbook proved it. I proved it now. .

I Is the Proof of Geometric Progression in Probability Common Sense?

    Not sure yet, this eventually Sigma ( x * k^x) 0<k<1 x = 1, 2, 3, 4, 5....n=infinite x is approach infinite, k^x approach 0. The answer is, 1/k.

I Is the Proof of Geometric Progression in Probability Common Sense?

My Statistics textbook does not prove this. The author think it is commons sense. I am not sure about this proof. Thank you.

When you press braking pedal -- wheel road surface tangent F

    - You are driving car with 100 mile/hour - You are pressing brake pedal. - The speed of car is suddenly gone down. Decelerated. - However, Wheel is rolling on road without sliding and car stopped smoothly finally. In this case, - the tangent force acting on road surface is related with...

    Vibration Massless spring static equilibrium

Let us imagine that there is a Massless spring with fixed at one end. Unloaded length = L Spring constant: = k Mass = 0The spring is at static Equilibrium Force: F Displacement: d F = k d, elongated length: L+d If I remove F, what will happen ? 1. Spring return to...
