How Do You Solve Complex Calculus Problems Due Tomorrow?
first one... just complete the square, at least that's what i'd do the second question: really simple trick you want all those points to basically be zero's correct? thus, -5, 0, and 5 would be zero's of this equation... I'm thinking: (x+5)(x-5)x now just distribute, and you...- Hessam

How Do You Solve This Multivariable Limit Problem?
ok... so I'm taking calc3, and didnt go to class for a month, lol now i can't solve this (what seems like) a simple limit... please help lim (x,y,z) -> (0,0,0) of this xy + yz + zx ----------------- (x^2)+(y^2)+(z^2) i tried...- Hessam

High School What's Next After Math Courses? - Advice for Hessam
ok... so since i have very little knowledge outside of what I've learned in school i must ask... what happens after i take these math courses? what's the "next step" ok, so 'im about to be a senior in high school... I'm just finishing up calc 3 right now, and during the first semester...- Hessam

High School Is \(\frac{1/0}{1/0}\) Equal to 1 or Undefined?
you alsot have to consider that "x/x" is a peice-wise defined function where f(x) = 1 if x =/= 0, and undefined when x = 0- Hessam

Graduate How does QM solve the bohr atom problem?
forgive me if I'm wrong (i'm still a junior in high school w/ only physics B under my belt..) i thought the problem was resolved through wave duality? because if we consider the electron to be a wave.. then it must go around the center of its orbit with a circumference = n * wavelength...- Hessam

Undergrad Potential Energy Explained: Does It Contradict Conservation of Mass/Energy?
as far as i know (feel free to correct me) we only use E=MC^2 to represent the binding energy that is holding certain atomic particles together you're acting as if though we can use this equation whenever and w/ whatever we wish to.. which is of course incorrect -

Undergrad Potential Energy Explained: Does It Contradict Conservation of Mass/Energy?
well w/ hypothetical situations that are not possible, a lot of stuff can occur that can make your head spin what I'm saying is plain and simple... gravity is a force... it pulls on the ball... so, for the ball to stay stationary it would require another force of equal magnitude because... -

Undergrad Potential Energy Explained: Does It Contradict Conservation of Mass/Energy?
because it takes work/energy to place the ball in its location... the entire universe is conducting through entropy and ethalpy... disorder and lowest potential state.. if you think about it, it makes sense... a ball has a tendency to be on the ground... so to lift it up 5 meters you need... -

Undergrad Derivative of Integral of Continuous Function f(x)
dump rule integral from a->x of f(t)dt = f(x) * d/dx(x) = f(x) you can derive this easily let F(x) be the antiderivative of f(x) therefore the integral = F(x) - F(a) take the derivative of that... the F(a) term falls off cause its a constant thus you do d/dx(F(x)) = f(x) yay... -

Undergrad How to Integrate (x) sq. root of ((x^2) - 1)?
can you explain why it is wrong? i only know through calc bc, got the ap tommorow... if that explains it or not... it would make sense to let dx = du/2x, so that i could just substitute it in can't i treat dx and x as separate variables? -

Undergrad How to Integrate (x) sq. root of ((x^2) - 1)?
notice that the derivative of the inside is the same power as the one outside... hmm, I'm thinking substitution... lol let u = x^2 - 1 du = 2x dx dx = du/2x therefore you will then get (in terms of u) 1/2* (integral of sqrt(u)) 1/2\int\sqrt{u}du or somethign like... -

Undergrad How Do You Solve the Integral of e^(2x)sin[3x] Using Integration by Parts?
why not just simply to tabular integration twice? integral of e^2x * sin3x original terms followed by deriv's/anti-deriv's e^2x ------- sin3x 2e^2x ------ (-cos3x)/3 4e^2x ------ (-sin3x)/9 which then yields =-(cos3x * e^2x)/3 + (2/9)(e^2x * sin3x) - (4/9)...
