Homework Statement
I've been given a problem with pulleys which I have attached to this post. I've derived the equations shown in the post but I'll also write them below. What I'm struggling with is how to combine them.

I'm not 100% sure as I'm just learning this stuff myself. But I think you can work out the velocity to the bottom of the window by just doing ##v_1=d/t## calling this velocity ##v_1## then put this in as an initial velocity in your ##v=v_0+at## to find out your v over the two seconds. Then use...
I'm not sure as I'm only just learning this stuff myself though it appears I'm a couple of weeks behind you but wouldn't it be worth finding the mass flow rate? Sorry if that's wrong.
I've integrated twice. I got ##v=0.03t^2+5t## and then integrated again to get ##s=0.01^3+2.5t^2+c## but even here I'm unsure how to isolate the t's because they have different powers and values attached to them
