Examples of infinity in the physical world

well there is now way to show infinity in the real world because the world is based on finite number see what i mean? space is the only thing that comes to mind, however we may just not be able to reach the end because our travel speed is too slow.

i believe he said concept not function, i would agree multiplying by 0 is easiest function, but i like my answer better.

    The simplist concept in mathematics

um id pick addition as the simplest. your 4 basic functions (addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication) are all different forms of adding. subtraction is adding a negative number, multiplicatin is adding a number a certain about of times, and division is the inverse of multiplication...

    Mathematical definition of randomness

well as far of your last question u have a 50% chance of it being a real number. any real number you pick there will always be one higher, however if u picked an imaginary number, such as sqrt(-4) then in will no longer be in the reals. that's all i know, I am not all that great in math like...

yo man u seem really really smart. i was wondering if u don't mind me asking where did u go to school and what did u major in. i love math, its fascinating, and u seem to have a very in depth understanding of it so if u don't mind could u tell me? also i don't have a question. 2+2/2 wahts the...

Can You Explore Sin, Cos, and Tan Without a Calculator?

um bit of a problem w/ that series, there wrong. i entered them in a calculator and the answeres were off noticably? is there some special way to read those that i don't know of being only in algebra 2, or is he just wrong? the thing i did was replace x with a number i chose like 2. when i...

Can You Explore Sin, Cos, and Tan Without a Calculator?

that series is what i was looking for actually. i know about the tables and how the calculator works and stuff, i just thought it would be cool to do it w/o a calculator because my math teachers said it was impossible...

Can You Explore Sin, Cos, and Tan Without a Calculator?

ive started an endeavor (being an amature mathematician) to find sin cos and tan w/o the use of a calculator. i was wondering if this had already been done because it will save me some time. anyone know how?
