Schools Civil Engineering - University of Waterloo Vs. University of British Columbia
Thank you for the advise. I guess I would like to perhaps after obtaining my bachelors move on and perhaps work a year or two with structures and buildings. Later returning to obtain a masters that is related to renewable/sustainable energies and their integration into buildings and structures.- Lemm

Chemistry: Van´t Hoff factor for baking soda
Hello, Im writing up a lab involving boiling point elevation of distilled water when solutes are added to it and I am using the equation: deltaT = iKm where: deltaT is the change in boiling point of the solvent, K is the molal boiling point elevation constant, and...- Lemm

Experiment outline on Tap Water vs Bottled Water
Yea i was sleeping earlier, but I already arranged it with my local University and they agreed to allow me to use their lab and the advisor will supervise my progress. I am going to call her now and setup a meeting... ill post again once i get more information. Right now I am just wondering... -

Experiment outline on Tap Water vs Bottled Water
Im currently a junior at my high school, and i am planning on performing an experiment in which i will compare local tap water to locally bottled water and see if there is any scientific justification for paying more for bottled water. I have done some research on the aspect and have found the... -

Is there a simple online tutorial for trigonometry and algebra combined?
You could use SOH, CAH, TOA. It is commonly used to memorize Sin Cos Tan, as Sin is Oposite side over Hypotenuse (SOH). Cos is Adjacent side over hypotenuse(CAH), and finally Tan which is opposite over adjacent (TOA) hmm sorry posted kinda late, i was reading the post- Lemm

Solve Uncertainty with Significant Figures: a-d
For example if your measuring something your uncertainty is half of the smallest measuring unit on your instrument +/- because you can't be certain of your measurement if its between two scale marks and you could round it up when indeed its down, or viceversa- Lemm

Solve Uncertainty with Significant Figures: a-d
yes uncertainty in this case is half of the smallest unit +/-, but i think that in this case they are asking the uncertainty percent After getting your uncertainty for example 9.8 is +/-0.05 units, this means that this might have rounded your value a maximum of .1 up or down so you simply get...- Lemm

Tap vs Bottled Water; Guidance Appreciated
Yea, I was worried i would either have to much information or too little (apparently its happens a lot with this paper, according to faculty advisors, i guess they´re just playing it safe warning us about everything). I was kind of hovering near the idea and got side tracked with the marketing...- Lemm

Tap vs Bottled Water; Guidance Appreciated
I gave it some though on the fact that the marketing aspect is big. I am trying to keep this paper chemistry oriented due to the fact that i was unable to take economics because of schedule conflicts. So it might complicate things for me to write a 4000 word paper on it. Ive done some reading on...- Lemm

Tap vs Bottled Water; Guidance Appreciated
I got to choose a topic for my paper sometime before the 5th of october, I am not totally fixed on this one. A big concern is not having enough to write about or being to broad. The point I would try to prove in this paper was that citizens in cities with regulated water supplies have no need to...- Lemm

Calculating Angle for Accurate Shooting
Y and X components of motion here are separate things, so in number 3 u treat the bullet falling as a separate part, where a=g. (You already have T, so just look for the formula that works) basically what u did to obtain number 4, just that you write your formula and variables down for Y...- Lemm
